Passing through Old Bank, the cultural heart of Bastimentos, you'll feel the local energy before continuing to Polo Beach, a hidden gem where the legendary Mr. Polo greets you with stories. Enjoy lunch on the beach, relax in crystal-clear waters, and explore the reef with a snorkel.

The experience
9:30 AM
The tour begins. A boat will pick you up at your accommodation and head towards Old Bank, the cultural heart of Bastimentos and the first stop on the tour.
10:00 AM
You will get to know Old Bank, exploring its colorful streets, Afro-Caribbean history and local atmosphere.
10:45 AM
After a brief visit, you will depart by boat towards the Red Frog Beach marina, on a short and scenic journey.
11:00 AM
You'll enter the park and reach Red Frog Beach via a small path through the jungle. You'll be able to enjoy the beach for a while before starting the hike.

Begin your hike to Polo Beach, crossing through the rainforest. Along the way, you may spot monkeys, sloths, and red frogs.
12:30 PM
You'll arrive at Polo Beach, a hidden paradise. Meet the legendary Mr. Polo, relax on the sand, and enjoy snorkeling if conditions permit.
1:00 PM
We will prepare a picnic lunch on the beach, with time to relax in hammocks and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Caribbean.
3:00 PM
We will return to Red Frog Beach, walking again through the jungle and its biodiversity, to take the boat back to your accommodation.
4:00 PM
You will board a boat back to your accommodation, enjoying the last views of Bastimentos.
4:30 PM
You will arrive at your accommodation, ending a day full of adventure, nature and culture.
