About the destination
Panama City is one of the most modern cities in Latin America. Located on the country's Pacific coast, its towering skyscrapers, vibrant nightlife, and sophisticated culinary offerings will captivate you.

The city was founded on the site of what are now the ruins of Panama Viejo in 1519 and grew to become one of the most important cities in Spanish America until its sacking in 1671 by the British pirate Henry Morgan.
The new city was established on the land of Santa Ana, in what is now Panama's Old Quarter, and continued to be governed by the Spanish until 1821, when it became part of Gran Colombia.
In 1904, Panama achieved independence with the support of the United States, which later built the famous Panama Canal and exerted influence over the country for years to come.
Today, Panama City is a modern metropolis that allows you to experience the blend of races, cultures, and architectural styles that are the result of its history. What are you waiting for?
