Our symbol: Designed from the ground up.
Burwa's new emblem merges ancestral Panamanian geometry with the elegance of contemporary design. Inspired by the Guna and Emberá worldviews, this symbol honors the cycle of life, the connection to the four cardinal directions, and the inner harmony awakened by our travels.
The spiral represents the personal journey and transformation.

Awards
Burwa has been selected as one of the outstanding ventures of the first edition of Empreturismo, a program promoted by the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
This initiative seeks to strengthen the local tourism fabric in key destinations of the country —such as Santa Catalina, Bocas del Toro, Boquete, Tierras Altas, Pedasí and Taboga— through business training, specialized mentoring and financial support for promising ventures.
Burwa's participation in this program reaffirms our commitment to a more sustainable, authentic tourism that is connected to the soul of Panama.
